For couples after an argument

The button for making up.

Too mad to talk? Press it and your partner knows to give you room. It stays down until you lift it, and lifting it says you're ready to come back to each other.

One email when it launches. No newsletter.

Hold the real control

hold it

ME

1.5 second hold ยท no accidental taps

One button for the hard nights. A calendar and your own words for everything else.

Why it exists

The argument ends. The silence doesn't.

One of you is still upset. The other is left guessing: give space, or say something? Guessing wrong makes the evening worse.

Snit turns the guess into an honest answer. Down means not yet. Lifted means come talk to me. Nobody has to pretend to be fine, and nobody has to ask "are we okay?" for the fourth time.

How it works

Press. Wait. Talk.

  1. 01

    Hold to press.

A second and a half, so it can't happen by accident. Long enough to mean it, short enough when you have no words left.

  2. 02

    It stays down.

Your partner sees it on their phone. They can't answer it, poke at it, or lift it for you. Not being ready yet is allowed here.

  3. 03

    Hold to lift.

Two seconds, and only you can do it. Lifting tells them you're ready, and they get one reply: "I'm coming." The rest is a real conversation, not an app.

The rest of the time

For the good days too.

A shared calendar for the dates that matter. Add an anniversary once, and the morning it comes round you both get a quiet reminder. No year counts, no countdowns.

And words ahead of time: write something real now, pick the moment, and Snit delivers it to your partner later. Snit will offer you a first sentence if you want one, and nothing is ever sent that you did not send. Nothing arrives while a button is down.

The safeguards

Designed so it can't be used against you.

No freezing someone out.

If a button stays down for hours, the gentle reminder goes to the person holding it. The one waiting is never nagged.

No hammering it.

A short cooldown after every lift, so pressing it over and over stops working as a jab.

Either person can leave.

Unpairing is instant, needs nobody's agreement, and erases everything between you.

No scores. No spying.

No streaks, no history, no read receipts, no "mad 12 times this month." It's a status light, not a scoreboard.

Snit is not out yet
